Hyatt Place Orlando Universal: Stay for Free
While lacking some of the bells and whistles of the more elaborate hotels, The Hyatt Place Orlando delivers excellent service at a fantastic location. This is a great option for those looking for hotel to serve as a place to rest, while spending busy days out visiting Orlando’s many attractions. Equally appealing to families, solo and business travelers the Hyatt Place Orlando Universal delivers stress free facilities with top notch service. In fact, this is probably one of my favorite ‘cheap’ hotel to stay at in Orlando.
Breakfast while traveling can be overwhelming, even more so if children are in the mix. Trying to make decisions while hungry and prior to coffee can directly lead to familial conflict or worse, whining. To avoid this fate, take advantage of the complimentary breakfast at the Orlando Universal. It is good and, more importantly, it is easy with enough options to ensure that everybody in your group will be able to find something they like. It’s not like your Motel 6 free breakfast either. It comes with a hot skillet option breakfast sandwich each day. Full stomachs with little effort equal a stress free start to your vacation day. Coffee and tea can also be found in the lobby for the duration of the morning.
This location can not be beat if you are planning to spend time at Universal Studios. While the hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle to the theme park, it is literally across the street should you feel like stretching your legs. Other theme parks are at most a twenty-minute drive, as are a multiple of dining and shopping options. The concierge at the hotel is a fantastic resource; they are extremely well versed in all the local attractions are able to acquire tickets, tee times and reservations for you.
The rooms at Hyatt Place Orlando Universal are very clean and set up in such a way that the guests have both a sleeping area and a living area. Complete with fridge this arrangement allows for a space to relax prior to bed after a busy day out on the town. The hotel also offers an outdoor pool with lounging chairs, a 24/7 fitness facility and both free Wi-Fi and free parking. If you are sensitive to noise it may be best to ask for a higher floor to avoid the sounds filtering in from the street.
If you are looking for a late night snack or a meal on the go the 24/7 Gallery Menu and Market is a convenient option located on premises. Likewise, the lobby lounge, which serves wine, beer spirits and Starbucks coffee, is a relaxing place to unwind with a drink after a long day at the parks.
Members of the Hyatt rewards program can use their points towards a stay at the Hyatt Place Orlando Universal hotel. Points are acquired via previous stays at Hyatt properties, trips taken on any of the 27 affiliated airlines or by shopping at any of the business partners of the Hyatt such as AVIS car rental. Additionally, you can accrue points by using a Hyatt Reward Visa card, offered by Chase Bank.
How to Stay at the Hyatt Place Orlando Universal for Free
My favorite option for staying at the Hyatt Place Orlando Universal is the Chase Sapphire Preferred. It comes with a signup bonus of 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points. After getting your signup bonus, you’re be able to transfer your points to the Hyatt Rewards Program. The Hyatt Place Orlando Universal only costs 8,000 points per night so you’d be able to stay for up to 6 FREE nights whenever you’d like. Looking at the room rates there, 6 nights would normally cost you about $1,200 after they get done adding the fees in. That is a HUGE value for that sign-up bonus.
